Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MJ Booths ("Service"), operated by Antonieta Legal Services ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this site, booking a rental, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting a booking, or signing a rental contract, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MJ Booths provides photo booth rental services for events, including booth setup, on-site attendant, prints and/or digital delivery, props, and related add-ons. Specific inclusions, hours, and pricing are described in your booking and signed rental contract.

3. Bookings, Deposits & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
  • The remaining balance is due before your event start time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated.
  • Travel fees apply to venues outside our standard service area.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Free reschedule or cancellation up to 30 days before your event date.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event forfeit the deposit.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event are charged the full booking total.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability; one free reschedule per booking.

5. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration and booking information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to sign a rental contract.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit false or misleading booking, venue, or contact information
  • Harass, threaten, or harm our staff or other guests at your event
  • Damage, remove, or tamper with our equipment
  • Capture or share content that infringes the privacy or rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems

7. Venue, Power & Setup

You are responsible for ensuring the venue allows photo booth setup and that a standard power outlet is available within 25 feet of the booth location. We require approximately 1 hour for setup and 30 minutes for teardown, included in your reservation window. If we are unable to set up due to venue restrictions or missing requirements you confirmed during booking, the full booking total remains due.

8. Event Photos & Content

You retain rights to photos taken at your event. We may use anonymized event photos for portfolio, gallery, and marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing before the event. You are responsible for obtaining consent from your guests to be photographed where required by law.

9. Service Availability

We strive to deliver every booked event on time and as described. In rare cases of equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), we will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a substitute or, if not possible, issue a full refund of amounts paid. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or cancel a booking at any time for violations of these Terms or for behavior that endangers our staff or equipment. You may cancel your booking subject to Section 4. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTONIETA LEGAL SERVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Antonieta Legal Services and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your event, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
